Internships for Adolescent Mental Health Awareness

• Venue:  Epiphany School, Aadhar School, Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune
• Beneficiaries: Communities across Pune, children from underfunded schools and labour camps

Designed and executed a holistic youth development program focused on emotional wellness and practical life skills for children. Key responsibilities were, facilitating "Emotions through Art" sessions to boost emotional literacy and self-expression. Delivering essential life skills (hygiene, teamwork, safety) through engaging play-based learning. Promoting mental health awareness and key concepts (empathy, resilience) via a creative skit, organizing a successful "Declutter & Donate Drive" to instil social responsibility. The project successfully cultivated empathy, leadership, and practical mental health skills through interactive community engagement. More than a conventional internship, this initiative became a movement—empowering interns to drive meaningful change, foster empathy, and make a tangible difference in the lives of children and communities.
