Internship for Compassion – Teaching, Feeding, and Uplifting Communities

  • Month of Execution:  January to June 2024
  • Venue: Children and underprivileged communities across Pune, Kerala, and Bangalore
  • Beneficiaries: Children of the above schools

Through a series of compassionate initiatives, Tanishaa Menon worked across regions to bring meaningful impact to different communities. She began by teaching six young children under the Little Learners, Big Dreams program, focusing on early literacy, numeracy, and life skills through engaging and interactive sessions. In May, she extended her efforts to Alappuzha, Kerala, by organizing the Threads & Vessels of Compassion drive, collecting sarees, utensils, and vessels for underprivileged families to help meet their basic needs. In June, she led the Food Drive to Combat Beggary initiative in Bangalore, distributing 100 food packets through a unique model that encouraged citizens to give food instead of money—promoting dignity, empathy, and sustainable giving. Together, these initiatives reflected her deep commitment to education, community service, and social responsibility, creating real change—one act of kindness at a time.
